The Mario Negri Institute, a non-profit organisation, founded in 1961, operates in biomedical research for public health.
The Institute does not patent its discoveries, remaining independent of industry, state, university, politics, finance and any religious ideology. Research and findings are made available free of charge to all, both the scientific community and patients, ensuring maximum cooperation without being subject to data confidentiality and secrecy.
